
A social worker trainee (SWT) is graduate social worker student seeking licensure as a professional social worker. Social Worker Trainees have the same scope of practice as a professional social worker, but require much closer supervision during the training process.
Nadeh Alomari (pronouns: she/her) is a social work trainee who works with children, adults, couples, and families. Her specialty interests include: addiction, anxiety, depression, intimate partner violence, parenting issues, relationship issues, trauma, and the integration of creativity into counseling. She utilizes treatment approaches that are evidence-based and uniquely tailored to each client.
Nadeh earned a dual bachelor’s degree in clinical psychology and sociology, with a concentration in family studies, from Walsh University. She then went on to earn a master’s degree from Case Western Reserve University in developmental psychology with a certification in early childhood intervention. Currently, she is attending The University of Akron for her second master’s degree in social work.
Before joining Wellness Grove, Nadeh has interned with places like the Cuyahoga Board of Developmental Disabilities doing home visits and Epicenter Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy.
Nadeh’s approach to counseling includes meeting clients where they are on their personal wellness journeys. Her philosophy consists of love, kindness, general understanding and listening, and empathy towards others. She carries these ideas in her work life and believes that everyone deserves to be treated with respect.
Her strengths include: tenacity, compassion, a creative outlook, and a great desire to learn and improve.
