JONCQUIL HOPE, LPCC

Joncquil Hope (pronouns: she/her) is an experienced licensed professional clinical counselor who works with adolescents, adults, and families. Her specialty interests include: girls’ and women’s issues, minority issues, anxiety, and life transitions. She utilizes treatment approaches that are evidence-based as well as taking into consideration what the individual wants to bring to session.

Joncquil completed her advanced education at Youngstown State University, earning a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She also earned a certificate in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy from the Integrated Psychiatry Institute.

Prior to working with Wellness Grove, Joncquil worked with a variety of clients in school, college, transitional housing, and community mental health settings.

Over the last 10 years, she has provided therapeutic services in a variety of community-based settings.

Outside of her clinical work, Joncquil volunteers with community organizations to spread awareness of mental health and how to overcome challenges.

Joncquil uses a variety of approaches, being individually selected per client need. She feels that what works best for the client and their progress is the most important thing. Sessions include skill development through relational and creative techniques.

Her strengths include: creativity, adjusting easily in situations, and willingness to learn from others.
