
A licensed social worker (LSW) is a mental health provider who holds a master’s or doctoral degree in social work and who has met all requirements set forth by the state licensure board to provide quality mental health care.
Alanna Sudberry (pronouns: she/her) is a dedicated licensed social worker who works with children, adolescents, adults, older adults, couples, and families. Her specialty interests include: trauma and PTSD, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, stress, burnout, spirituality, and holistic wellness. Alanna’s commitment to the field of social work is driven by her strong belief in the power of empathy and the potential for positive change through the therapeutic connection.
Alanna has completed her master’s degree in social work at Cleveland State University in the Spring of 2024. Her educational journey reflected her deep commitment to understanding and addressing the diverse needs of individuals and communities. She has taken courses in geriatrics, trauma and PTSD.
In addition to her academic pursuits, Alanna is actively engaged in various volunteer and internship opportunities within the profession of social work to gain practical experience and refine her understanding of evidence-based treatment approaches.
She has worked in community health and holistic wellness at an equine therapy farm with diverse individuals. Her experiences have solidified her dedication to promoting well-being and resilience among the populations she serves.
Alanna’s approach to counseling is relational, holistic, and strengths-based. As she continues her journey in social work, she is dedicated to embodying the values of compassion, authenticity, and collaboration. Her approach to counseling mirrors her belief that strong, empowering connections are the foundation of personal growth and healing.
